I have likewise found that the local Walgreens pharmacy one hour service now has a Fuji Frontier system. I talked to the certified photo tech (at least that is what his name tag said) and asked if I could just bring in a CD of images I have worked over in PS, and he said no problem. I asked about format, and he said a JPG and no limit on file size. I am going to put together a set of color and B/W images and run them through the system and see what comes out. We shall see..... They also developed a roll of Kodak B&W+ C41 chromogenic BW for me and at my request delived negatives only at half of their usual 1 hour price... about $2.60. Now i can scan them on the 2450.

I am interested in dedicating a printer to BW. I like the review I
read (referred to on this site) about the HP7960. When checking
prices, it seemed the HP7660 is half the price of the HP7960, plus
there are three cartridges in the HP7960 and only two in the HP7660,
but both offer the exchange with the additional black for BW prints.
Make sense? I forget the numbers.
Anyway, my question is that since several here have talked about
using the HP7660 for BW, I wonder if, with the fewer cartridges, does
the HP7660 really do as good a job with BW as the HP7960, or should I
spring for the added cost. I already have a color printer I like, so
I'm only talking about BW.
Thanks for any help.
Howard

Howard,
The Mike Johnston article, "Hooray for Hewlet-Packard!" at:
http://www.luminous-landscape.com/columns/sm-03-14-12.shtml
has some details about this.

As I understand it, the 7660 uses the same cartridges for BW as
the 7960.

The 7660 sounds like it might be a good solution for BW.I'm happy with my
Epson 1270 for color and not particularly attracted
to doing color with an HP printer. However my efforts to do BW with
my Epson 1160 have involved way too much screwing around with
trying different ink types, experimenting with work flows, printing
step wedges, clearing clogs, ad nauseam than is congruent with my desire to
make pictures. Others have had better luck.
