Really specialized OT question

Hi. I use Canto Cumulus 6.0 for cataloging images, and I'm hoping there is
a Cumulus user/computer whiz on the list who may have some insight. If so,
please contact me offlist to avoid clogging with an OT question. Anyway:
All was roses until I replaced the HP cd-rw burner, which died, with a new
52x burner. The CD's with the new burner are fine, open in PS, etc. But:
They will not drag and drop into the existing Cumulus catalog until I open a
new catalog. The Canto manual says a new catalog file doesn't have to
opened until a 4gb limit is reached, and mine is a paltry 4mb. I can add
additional CDs burned with the old HP drive to the existing catalog. So,
somehow or another, CDs burned with the new drive require a new catalog.
Canto support is unresponsive. My question is driven by part curiousity and
part not wanting multiple catalogs for a keyword search. Thx much for any
insight. I am constantly amazed by how many day-to-day problems are
answered on this list.
