Can not select 2880dpi on b/o 2200/2100

Can not select 2880dpi on b/o 2200/2100

2004-02-21 by ms.photolists

For months I have been printing Black only prints on Epson Archieval Matte
paper using MIS Ebony Ink. However afer a system rebuild I am now not
getting the option of selecting 2880 dpi.

Paper type is Epson Archival Matte
Black ink is selected

The drivers are 5.30 latest from the Epson site.

I have obviously overlooked something, could anybody help?

Thanks

Martin

Is this a Windows XP system? It insists upon installing the built-in
drivers, which are an early version, even if you've also installed the
current drivers. You have to make sure you select the correct one from the
Printers list.

I have sorted it - Thanks

Because I had an MIS Eboni cartridge in, the Printer was not
recognising it as a Matte Black. I managed to select the option and
fool it into thinking the cartridge was for Matte paper.

Cheers
