Clayton, Thank you for your additional information and also for the heads-up on my being off-topic. Since I was shooting digital and realized I'd blown the highlights when I went to print on my Epson 2200 using the standard Epson inks on Ilford Pearl paper I thought it might be on-topic (of course I realize I didn't post any of that last bit of information!) :o) By the way, your site is very informative to me and I thank you for it. Lessen the exposure with the "exposure compensation" control. Most cameras allow 1/3 stop increments, up to +/- 2 stops. On my camera, if it's on aperture priority it will change the shutter speed, and if it's on shutter priority it will change the aperture. If it's on Program it could do either or both.
