Epson 2200 with Ultratone carts - Losing nozzles every other print?

Hello group, I want to thank everyone for all of the wonderful data that is being collected and shared here. You have already helped me enormously over the past few months. Thank you. Two weeks ago I switched an Epson 2200 to Ultratone ink cartridges. I adore the inkset and would like to continue using it, however I lose nozzles 2-3 times per day. After noticing bands in my print, I confirm via nozzle check that some heads are missing and then run up to three cleaning cycles before letting the printer rest for 3 hours. Upon return I print a small test image and then continue head cleaning until all the nozzles appear (usually the first cycle upon return). This will usually allow me to make two good 13x19 prints before the bands appear or an entire ink drops off altogether and I repeat the above cycle. So far I have done the following to address the issue: 1) regulated humidity and temp in the room 2) re-installed OEM inks, which brings nozzles on-line immediately 3) used windex in the parking pad Any suggestions as to how I might proceed? I understand that the MIS carts use foam and that this might cause problems with the ink feed. Would a CFS cure this (i.e. do the CFS carts use foam?). Thank you for your time, James Tolliver jrtolliverjr@...
