Great!

Now let's all call our prints "Tirages" and see what happens in the art world!

"I think I am going to throw a tirage tonight."

Il love the way that sounds!

How about a gallery show with "Carbon Pigment Tirage" anyone?

It simply means a print. Same word used for darkroom prints, digital
  prints, whatever.

On second thought...

Let's pick a more obscure term....French is just too easily understood.

How about an extinct language? Esperanto, while not extinct, could work (but it too is understood by so many people worldwide.)

Musing in good humour,

Inkhaus can be the name of our tirage band. Steadman, you can be the lead
singer. We'll hang shows everywhere from galleries, to Starbucks, and
perform punk music at the openings. Steadman, you can douse yourself with
Pigment ink and throw yourself into the crowd. As they pass you around
overhead, they too will get ink under their nails.

This could be really big.

Sanscrit? (I'm not sure on spelling!)

Now, I'm sure there will be a font out there to do this. The first part of
audience participation can be to find the font :)

Good visions Todd.

I can see us all looking somewhat like the "Blue Man Group" but in carbon quadtone inks.

Imagine those celts (like in Braveheart) but instead of blue faces, black or grey.

Tirage Band sounds like Garage Band.

[Digital BW] Re: Re:Are Quadtone prints "Giclee"

2001-10-16 by Tyler Boley

Another side note...
or shenanigan as it were...
I just saw a little exhibit at a long established photography gallery called "Photography at the Crossroads". They were
Graham Nash Iris prints.
Isn't that way back there in the dust somewhere?
If it took them this long to reluctantly put up a few Iris prints and imply it's a new direction, how long will it take them to
accept quads from a no-name?

a discussion list.

Ok, Martin, you better spank me now...I deserve it.

Definitely German Techno from the 1980's...back when I was using a 300dpi
laserprinter (wow was that amazing) and a dot-matrix printer with a
multicolor ribbon...remember those?

All of Steadman's lyrics will be Haiku, I will spray coat the crowd with
polymer so they don't fade and Antonis will take our pictures in the dark at
ASA 3200 with the Leica and then drum scan us. We will be digital. Amen.

Robert,

I think you may be the group's lyricist. You have the potential to turn any phrase into lines or praise or allusion...sometimes to the groups confusion.

Thanks for the good humour in black (ink) times.
