1280-UT2 Curves For QTR2 on Redhat 9

1280-UT2 Curves For QTR2 on Redhat 9

2004-05-01 by Tom Husband

Anybody using this combination? I extracted the .sit files from Roy's
site and tried running the install file but they don't show up in the
ExampleInks directory. Any suggestions?

Thanks,

Tom

They don't show up there. They go into the a directory called
"quadtone" under the cups datadir. For Linux I think its
/usr/share/cups/quadtone -- CurveDropBox ought to be a link
to it.

Anyway, the install script ought to have printer a bunch of Creating
and Installing Curves messages. If that happened the curve name
would also have been put into the PPD files in /etc/cups/ppd

If you are using qpr you'll have to edit in the curve names.

Nothing in the quadtone directory. No creating and installing curve
messages when I ran the install script either. Not sure what qpr is.

Guess I could buy some other ink that has curves already installed but
I really like UT2.

I am so close on this. Nobody else use UT2 ink, QTR and Redhat 9?

What did you get when you ran Install2200?
Cut and paste all the output and email me it.
