Panorama Paper Source

As posted earlier Digital Art Supplies has the Schoellershammer
Velvet available in 9"X35" and 11"X35" and Somerset Photo Enhanced in
13"x33'rolls.

I gave them a call and for a $25 charge they will cut down any of the
large sheets they have in stock. Same price for 25 or 50 sheet
purchase. They are limited to a 35" long cut.

But from a 25-sheet package of 35" X 47" you would wind up with 75
sheets of 13" by 35" and 25 sheets 8" X 35". In addition to the
Schoellershammer they carry Crane and Hahnemuhle (Turner 310, German
Etching, Torchon, Albrecht Durer 210) and Museo in sheets.

Best of all they are purchasing a roll cutting machine and in 2 to 4
weeks expect start offering 13" rolls of all the Hahnemule and
Schoellershammer papers!

Another alternative would be to buy the uncut sheets and find a local
printer with a 47" paper cutter to cut them down for you. This would
give you 50 - 13"x47" and 25 - 9"x47" sheets from a 25 package of
large sheets.

Shipping costs and possible damage to the paper may be an issue in
receiving these oversized sheets, cut or uncut.

Martin (and any resident fine-woodworkers.... Phil?),

how different is a "roll cutting machine" from a precision table saw or miter
saw with a finish blade?
