OT -- Color profiling

OT -- Color profiling

2004-05-03 by Paul Roark

I have been asked for a recommendation with respect to color profiling.

A company is looking for a person/service bureau that can make high-quality
profiles for some new papers it wants to sell. The profiles would be
offered to the purchasers of the paper. The paper is most suitable for
UltraChrome printers, as well as the MIS and other pigments we use here.
The company also expects 1280 color dye users to buy the paper (even if dye
will not last very long on it).

So, the profiles needed would be for Epson UC ink on all the UC printers,
and 1280 (possibly 1270) dye ink.

Any names or recommendations would be most appreciated. (On or off list)

Thanks.

Paul
