Digital BW, The Print

How  do I get an excellent Black / White 11 x 14 print that has been scanned 
in at 1600 dpi.  I am printing on an Epson 200p and I am getting tonal canges 
in a reall dense black and a not so dense black.

Howdy Donald,

what inks and workflow are you using..?

I've been very happy with my 2000P..!
I use a mix of MIS VM and UT inks, and Paul Roark's Mac curves for the
1290. most good quality papers work great too!
