Your favorite photoshop and scanner groups

Two quick requests for pointers...

Grateful for any knowledge you can share.

1. Can anyone recommend a Photoshop list/group that's as kind and gentle
as
this list?

I'm not a rank newbie---layer masks are not a mystery to me, for
example---but I'm certainly still scratching my head more often than I'd
like.

2. Is there a good film scanner list out there? The Tony Sleep list
seems to have gone to sleep. I've just inherited a Minolta Multi-Scan
Dual and
I'm keen to read the archives of a list to help get me scanning B&W well
sooner than I would on my own.

Appreciate any pointers to good groups.

Cheers,

Houston

The retouching forum on www.dpreview.com is 'kind and gentle' too -
an apt expression for both. It covers other programs in addition to
PS. This list and the retouching forum are my favourites.

One of the best Photoshop groups:

Also Adobe's User to User forum if you want some abuse thrown into the mix.

Minolta group - though it's for the Multi Pro they might help out:

Move to quarantaine

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
