PermaJet Alpha paper

PermaJet Alpha paper

2004-06-10 by Paul Roark

Jobo, which will distribute Alpha in the U.S., just received it's first
production batch of Alpha, as well as the other papers in the new PermaJet
line. Dealers do not have it yet, but it can be purchased direct from Jobo
by calling 1-800-664-0344.

Just to summarize my experience with Alpha: it is a cotton paper (300 gsm, I
think) with no or almost no flaking (like UltraSmooth & PremierArt Scrapbook
& Hot Press, and much better than the H. papers); it has no optical
brighteners (also like Scrapbook, et al.); it has a look (hue) more like
Moab Entrada Natural; AND it has a dmax of 1.69 (v. PhotoRag 1.7 & the
others at about 1.6). This combination of features makes this paper about
the best I know of - if you like creamy, non-OBA cotton papers.

That sounds odd. The Alpha I have feels like a good 300 gsm paper.

Steve,

It's the web page that is the problem. http://www.silverprint.co.uk/ has
used the "Artist Classic 210" boarder and heading for several papers.
However, Artist Classic 210 is a different, older paper.

Alignment on a 2100

2004-06-10 by Daniel Staver

Does anyone know whether cancelling an alignment before it's finished
also cancels all the choices you've made up to that point?

I'd like to work with the horizontal alignment without going through the
tedious process of doing a full color alignment each time.

Guess I just answered my own question. It seems like you can abort the
process after the horizontal alignment and still keep the changes you've
made up to that point.
