Since it's a little slow on the list I thought I post a very interesting video on photographer Robb Kendrick who photographs with tintypes. I never understood what a tintype was until this video - it's very clear. Makes me want to give up the Epson and Mac. http://magma.nationalgeographic.com/ngm/bestvintage/multimedia_vid2.html

I noticed this on craigslist: (the post can be found at http://www.craigslist.org/sfc/sys/35391979.html it's in the SF Bay area..and that's all i know) epson 1160 is a good printer, high rez, can handle up to 13x19 paper, 4 colors. i have it hooked up with a QUADTONE (four shades of gray for high quality b&w printing) continuous inkflow system, which means that the ink gets sucked straight out of ink bottles, no expensive cartiges needed. i'm transitioning out of b&w and into color, so i'm letting this guy go. it hasn't been used in some monthes, so it will probably need a tune. selling AS IS for 180 or best offer (printer value 250, ink system value 125, inks value 75) i'm going out of town on thursday, so come and buy it off me before then. i mean it. -- Matt Haber dance, portrait and fashion photography http://www.matthaber.com
