Hi

What's the difference between the Ilford smooth pearl and classic pearl?
Can you print with UT2 inks on either with the same profiles?

Mark

The Classic papers are made for dye inks.

Mark,

Use the Ilford Smooth Pearl for pigments like the UT2 inks. The Classic is
for dyes. I think it is a swellable coating. I tried some with the UT inks
and, as I recall, it did not dry within a reasonable time (if ever).

No, but I get DMax of 2.2 with Photo Black! That's exceptional!

And NO bronzing whatsoever!

Do you mean Epson Photo Black or some other 3rd party version of it?

Thanks,
