I had the same enlarger and a much more extensive setup (tem control, lots of lenses, etc.). A year ago, in a fairly large city, I couldn't find a buyer for it at any price. I donated the whoe works to the local high school. They were still teaching photography the old fashioned way, thank goodness.

Similar experience here this past spring. I managed to sell the lenses,
lensboards and negative carriers on Ebay. But the rest of the stuff went
to my kids' high school (which was delighted to receive it) except for the
1940s era GraLab timer that was my father's. Couldn't give away the 45MCRX
chassis, though - I may end up cutting it up with a torch and throwing it
out piecemeal in the garbage just to get it out of my way. (I've already
called the local colleges and they don't want it either.)

Cheers,
Kip

You would think there might be a market out there if someone would come
out with an affordable color/bw enlarger head that accepts digital
files and we can all get back into the darkrooms for a while. I know
the DeVere 504 exists but at $30,000. Something that would fit on an
old Omega or Besseler chassis. Come on, anyone! I'd pay at least $1000
for one just to smell fixer again.

Why not make digital inkjet negatives using Dan Burkholder's methods
and do contact prints. That's what I'm planning on doing when I need
a "glossy dried matte silver fix" as well as non-silver processes.
