Airport Express QTR printing

I just got an Airport Express device, plugged my Epson 1280 printer into it and printing with Epson printer works fine but with the QTR (Gimp-Print) driver it just doesn't. Has anyone had any success with this setup? I have a new 14" IBook, OSX 10.3.4. Andu
