I have fixed a few things and added the option to prefix a sequence number
to files moved to the Processed folder if there was already a file of the
same name there.

THANK YOU for all your work, Stephen.

I'm having a problem with large ('Custom') printing. I can
make "sheet" 8x10's all day, but when I specify 'custom' and try a
20x24, it seems to forever go into spool mode without printing. I've
printed previously a 16x30 (I think with 0.6) without problem. Not
sure what I might be doing wrong now or what might be causing it.

Thanks for your help and work.

Roy Harrington will have to handle this. If the spooler starts, then it is
the QuatToPrinter routine that is involved.

Stephen:
forgive my ignorance (a programmer or computer expert I am not), but
as mentioned, I previously printed a 16x30 with QTR3 and Gui 0.6 or
so. It worked fine. The only variable that has changed is upgrading
to Gui .9 and now .10, and now large prints will not. It seems to me
it's something with the Gui, but then again, I am only a hack.

Thanks.

Please send me the log files that are created when you attempt to print and
it fails. Have you attempted to print the same image at 116x20 that you
printed successfully before?

Where would one find those log files, Stephen? I cannot seem to
locate. Just to address your question, I tried to print that same
16x30 just now, and I can get it to begin printing, but it seems to
cap at about 12" in width.

Not sure what is happening. Thanks.

They should be in the program files\QuadToneRIP folder.

Re: QTRgui version 0.10

2004-08-19 by gphilpott2003

I just wanted to let you know I had the exact same problem with
QTRgui version 0.10. I tried to print a 16x20 and it only printed
about half the image. I then printed to an edited bat file instead
of using the gui and it printed just fine. I'm using Win XP pro and
UC 9600.
Also, the roll feed doesn't seem to work. I would like to be able
to use roll paper.

Please send me the edited bat file that works and the log files from the
QTRGui that fails.

Roy has not fixed roll feed yet in QuadToneRIP.

RE: [Digital BW] QTRgui version 0.10

2004-08-19 by Bill Cheadle

Stephen,

First, I want to thank you for taking the time to create a very convenient
and useful interface. While I don't find editing batch files daunting, I do
find it a royal pain to do so every time I want to tweak then print. Your
gui is a real time saver!

Now, to my "issue". I just logged on and found that you have posted a new
version, incorporating a fix to a bug I have experienced - the gui dialog
box loads up almostly completely off the right side of the desktop. But
after installing the revision, I am now getting a message that it can't
start the program because it can't find 'rtl60.bpl'. I did an uninstall,
then re-install. Still no luck. Any idea what it's looking for and where to
find/put the file?
