Digital BW, The Print

If I owned both printers, I would do color with the 2200 and UC inks and do B&
W with the new Paul Roark curves and the UT-FS/FSN inks as the best, most 
efficient use of devices and inksets.

Since I got a 4000, it's last call for the 2200 going on Ebay today, unsless 
I hear from one of you first. $450 plus shipping.

The 2000P is slow compared to the 2200, but you can use QImage to batch out 
printing overnight, so it's really FAST when you are sleeping. You wake up and 
a bunch of prints are done already.

True, but for matte papers the 2000P seems about the same as a 1280.  I'm
told Epson slowed down the 2000P for the glossy paper settings to allow more
drying time before rollers were hit.

I have not written curves for glossy papers, so I can't say whether there is
a work-around that is worth the effort.
