b&w on epson

I would appreciate any suggestions on how to get a great b&w from an epson 2200 or
4000 from a scanned (Nikon 4000) b& w neg. I have heard QuadTone RIP helps?, or are
there settings I should do in Photoshop? Thanks! Darryll

You're basically asking someone to summarize the entire topic of this
mailing list. ;-)

I suggest some extensive browsing of the archives on Yahoo, after which you
can ask more specific questions.

Search the archives, Darryll. There is no simple, or easy, answer
to your question, but many, MANY, M A N Y , people here have asked
it. Read the archives to learn what tradeoffs of cost,
convenience, quality and effort are available.
