Hi, thanks - I got that far, but still can't get it to go. I have printer and file sharing checked (which worries me a bit re security), the host name is the name of the PC (Nedwood) ... and I can't figure out what else I should be doing. I tried the help file on the loopback adaptor, but it didn't seem to correspond to my version of WINXP SP2.
