Digital BW, The Print

I know this is a black and white forum so kindly excuse this 
question.  I am using MIS's GP archival color inks for my epson 
1280.  I use eboni ink for BO printing and the color for my full 
color work.  I have been trying to print duotones, tritones and 
Quadtones from the presets in Photoshop.  The results are horrible, 
over saturation and one color usually dominates.  I have downloaded 
the drivers for my specific paper which with color looks great.  But 
the duo, tri and quadtones look horrible. Any suggestions?  Thank
