Digital BW, The Print

I also just installed Quadtone PC2-1b and QTRgui and can't make it work.
The installation seems a little odd - a group called QuadtonePC2_1b is
created as is one called QuadtoneRIp. When I try and run QTRgui, after
setting the printer share correctly (Quad2200 in my case) I get an error
message - unable to open file - even if I try the 21 step grayscale sample.
I seem to have my shares okay and have configured zonealarm to set program
to trusted status. Tried setting the debug option and nothing seems to be
created - which figures since no printing can even start

There seems to be a problem with QTRgui opening files with long path names.
Try opening a file with a short path name and see if it works.

Your suggestion about path length was right on, Stephen - selecting a tif
from c:\temp\ works fine.
