Having trouble printing a non-grainy BW print with the Epson 1280! Have tried every possible scenario I can imagine....no luck. The best quality I've been able to achieve was blue-toned...yikes. Anyone ever dealt with this? If so, please send advice. Thank you :)

For good B&W on the 1280 printer you need a dedicated B&W inkset. The ones I work with that are compatible with the 1280 are the MIS UT2 (variable-tone) and UT-FS (medium warm monotone) and FSN (neutral). You can read more about them on the MIS website at www.Inksupply.com or on my website -- see the index at http://home1.gte.net/res09aij/index.htm. Paul www.PaulRoark.com ___________________
