???? Do you mean list the curves in the drop-down list? You must select a printing model first. If you have done that, then you need to check your QTR installation. You may not have any curves to display. -Stephen www.sbillard.org/Stephen

Yes I have selected printing model and I have curves in the installation. An earlier version of QTRGui worked (I could change curves) and I Have not changed anything in the installation. I have .ppd and .quad-files. \\ Ulf --- In DigitalBlackandWhiteThePrint@yahoogroups.com, "Stephen Billard" <stephen@s...> wrote: > ???? > > Do you mean list the curves in the drop-down list? > > You must select a printing model first. Yes I mean the drop-down list. Yes I have selected the printermodel. The QTR installation is OK as far as I understand. I have curves (.ppd and .quad-files). In an earlier version of QTRgui I could change curves. \\ Ulf --- In DigitalBlackandWhiteThePrint@yahoogroups.com, "Stephen Billard" <stephen@s...> wrote: > ???? > > Do you mean list the curves in the drop-down list? > > You must select a printing model first. QTRgui gets the curve names from the folder associated with your printer. You did not say which printer, but if it is the 2200, then there is a folder named "..Quadtone\Quad2200" that contains a bunch of files that end in ".quad". The GUI searches this folder and loads up what it finds. The only ways for it not to have curves are 1/ "Calibration" is checked in the options menu (in which case it will show the word "Calibration" above the printer drop-down. 2/ there in no printer model selected in the drop-down. And 3/ there are no curves in the folder. There has been no change in this handling recently. What was your previous version? -Stephen www.sbillard.org/Stephen

Hi and thanks a lot for your answers! I have chosen my printer ....quadtone\Quad2100\here are 27...quad-files. The calibration mode is not on. I have selected my printer 2100 both manualy an automaticly with the same results. As I undrstand the 27 .quad-files in the quadtone\quad2100 are curves. I rememberd that the first version out worked. I use W2k and QTR/Gui is installed in C:\Program not C:\ProgramFiles. I have un/installed Gui severel times.
