Digital BW, The Print

I have downloaded the latest versions of QTR for windows and QTRGui,
have followed the installation instructions very carefully for my
Epson 2200 printer, but cannot get my printer to print. The
QTRLOG1.txt file,  in its last line, says : "error: unable to write
raster data to driver." The QTRLOG2.txt file, in its last line, says:
"Fatal error: PPD environment variable not set!" 

What have I done wrong and what should I do?

Does Windows 2k have a "ProgramFiles" environment variable? You can check
this by running a Command Window (Start/run:CMD) and typing "Set
ProgramFiles". It should print out something like "C:\Program Files". If
this environment variable is not set, QuadToneRIP gets confused.

Did you download the newest non-networked ver. 2.1.6b...?  Had 
exactly the same error in W2K in networked ver., and with new ver. it 
ran first time...
