QTR and file names

2005-01-09 by jm-ferreira@bluewin.ch

Hi all,

QTR won’t process files with international characters in the file names (é,
ö, ç, à, etc…).

When I click print, the image disappears from the “preview” window after 2
seconds. A tiny file is spooled to the printer.

Changing the character (i.e. “e” instead of “é”) solves the problem.

Thought (some of) you would like to know.

José

For support of these characters you need to run QTR in the "non Batch" mode.
Using QTRgui version 2.1.11, click Options and be sure that "use batch mode"
in unchecked. This problem is really with batch files. They are too ancient
to have support for international character sets.

Move to quarantaine

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
