C86 Pizza wheel marks

I have some troubles with pizza wheel marks at my C86 prints.
Anyone here who has a solution to this?

I've noticed this only with a few papers -- usually the high gloss
varieties. Although I've never noticed it on the Costco paper some of us
are using, which is reasonably glossy.

I have not tried to remove the pizza wheels from a C86. I think they may be
necessary due to the "vertical" placement of the head. (At least that was
my conclusion with the older C82.) The bottom of the print may be beyond
the main rollers while it's still printing.

I get pizza wheel marks on every print on Ilford Smooth pearl paper, so I am very
interested in a way to fix this problem.
If anyone here has the same experience and a possible solution I'll be happy to know..

I today removed the pizza wheels from the C86 myself.
No problem, the printer prints well without them and... no pizza marks anymore!
