New Improvements in Epson UltraChrome inkset ?

New Improvements in Epson UltraChrome inkset ?

2005-01-20 by john dean

A client of mine just came by to pick up some prints and she told me that she just heard
that Epson is going to release an improved version of the UltraChrome inkset. What she
said was that they have found a way to improve the stability of the inks and that they will
have the same color gamut but improved fade resistance.

Is this true? Anyone else heard about this? Hope it is not just a rumor.

John-

I guess they are always working on something...look at all they've
done in the low end printer area lately.

I would rather see them work on wider color gamut, less bronzing and
surface differentials than longevity... but that's just me <g>
