beginner paper

2005-01-21 by kellyhealy_jake

I have purchased my first set of UT2 inks and have had exellent results printing with a
1280 and photoshop using enhanced matte. inkjetart has papers called duobrite that
sounds interesting since I am on a limited budjet . keeping in mind that I am true
beginner, is this a paper that is good enough to learn on? Or is there something else.
Thanks Kelly

Kelly,

It sounds like you already found it ... Epson Enhanced Matte. Life is
pretty simple sometimes :-)

Hi Kelly

The Permajet ImageLife papers are worth a try. They're more
expensive than EEM (about twice the price in the UK) but give good
results.

A good idea is to try to get hold of free samples of the paper or buy
sample packs. This way you don't have to spend loads before deciding
which you like. Some companies will send samples if you drop them an
email.

Chris

I've worked with Inkjetart.com's Museum Digital, which is heavy and
two-sided...two prints for the paper price of one :-)

It's uncoated with no brighteners...slightly creamy, not brilliant
white. It prints visually identically to Enhanced Matte, no need for
different settings. I like it especially for 13X17 because of the
weight (and price).
