QTR v. 2.1.13 - Problem with Monitoring

QTR v. 2.1.13 - Problem with Monitoring

2005-02-07 by Michael Gordon

Prior to upgrading to v 2.1.13 a handful of days ago, I had no
problems with auto-printing once the file landed in my Monitor folder.
Now it seems to no longer monitor properly. I can see the file sitting
in the folder, but it does not print. Any suggestions? Thank you.

Please try the beta of QTRgui version 2.1.14 on
www.sbillard.org/Shareware/QTRgui.htm and see if it solves this problem.
Please report back your results.

Did what you suggested, but it doesn't seem to help, Stephen. Is this a
known problem?

There was one other report. That person has not had the problem since trying
the beta. Can you describe in detail (off list) your workflow? I haven't
been able to reproduce the problem, the "fix" was just a guess.

I also had a problem with monitoring.

I exchanged a couple of e-mails with Stephen about it and am still not sure if it was my error or a bug.

To be honest, I did not pursue it. At the moment I do not print much and I just open a file in the GUI and print it manually if I need to.

But I did see files left over in the monitor folder that were not printed. Often stopping and restarting QTRgui would result in the file being printed.
