R800 paper feed

R800 paper feed

2005-02-14 by Stephen Kobrin

I received the following message from Epson support in reponse to my
question about problems feeding paper into the R800.

Thank you for contacting the Epson Connection.

Please try the following when printing on thick media:

 1. Click on START, CONTROL PANEL, PRINTERS AND FAXES (or PRINTERS
AND OTHER HARDWARE).
2. Right click your printer, and select PRINTING PREFERENCES (If
your printer is not listed, click on VIEW INSTALLED PRINTERS first)
3. Click on the MAINTENANCE tab and click on PRINTER AND OPTION
INFORMATION.
4. Place a check on THICK PAPER AND ENVELOPES.
5. Click on OK and then APPLY (if applicable)

Try printing, and all should be well.

Did it work for you?

The paper I have trouble with is the Kirkland glossy, and it's not as
thick as the Epson Premium Luster that I used to use and had no
problems.

Go figure...

Scott

Move to quarantaine
