Good news on Qimage - please see Mike Chaney's questions

2005-02-16 by ferdinand_paris

Mike Chaney announced today that he is getting close to supporting
fully the QTR gray-lab/matte/photo profiles in Qimage. Also the
RGB-lab/matte/photo ones.

He has asked some questions of potential B&W users of Qimage. See

Given the quick response that Mike has made on this issue, can I
encourage all PC users to go and answer his questions.

Thanks.

Although I do not use the RH product (it looked all too messy to me), I
thoroughly applaud your approach to the inherent difficulties that might
give problems to some.

However might I suggest that the onus of responsibility on work flow is the
product providers. Colorbyte lay down the routine as does Cone's Piezo and
from an end users point of view it is better to be TOLD what work flow to
use than attempt to find your own.
