I have been following this group for a little while and have an Epson 4000 with Win XP. I have the latest QTRgui 2.2  and have read the tutorial.
I don't get the screens shown in the tutorial so I haven't been able to follow your discussion with Steve with any comprehension.
I've made some really nice prints with the canned curves but I'd like to try creating some curves.
Can you help?

Steve and I are both using the Mac version of QTR.  I'm not familiar 
with the profile creation process on the PC so you might want to ask 
some of the PC users on the list for help.
