And now here's "UltraGiclée"

And now here's "UltraGiclée"

2005-02-23 by Andre

It seems that Epson is now joining the Giglée parade with "UltraGiclée"

Here's a snippet of what's floating on the web:

"It may be offered on EPSON UltraSmooth Fine Art Paper or Canvas,
using EPSON UltraChrome pure pigment inks and EPSON printers. This
combination of media, ink and printers create what is known as an
EPSON UltraGiclée™"

At PMA this year, Epson has "UltraGiclée" posters. That's one name I
would not touch with a 10 foot pole!

Cheers,
André Moreau

Just curious, but are you the same andre moreau that is on channel 8 in
san diego? If so, are there any galleries that you know of around town
that have digital B/W?

"UltraCiclee" reminds me of the late John Holmes. Not the image I'd
want for my prints.

Is it a type of print or French porn site?

Sorry, I couldn't resist.

That is obscene and gross. The French consider that term pornographic ( giclee - to spray
) .
