Digital BW, The Print

a few weeks ago i found out that there is no more support 
for the org quadtone ink and epson archival matte paper + epson 1200
printer 
i searched new curves coz all my prints where to dark after i ordere a
second delivery ( which was caused by the new double density black i
guess ) 

after that i found out on this board that the epson archivall matte
paper is not that good coz it is acidish 

now i am on my knees and begging if somebody has a good combination for me
a new ( not too expensive ) paper for normal prints 
a new expensive paper for some special prints 

and the curves matching to that paper and my good old printer 

sorry for so much begging but i am still a big fan of mis and it
really males me down having this big 16 oz bottles standing around
here and cannot work perfektly

You might find the MIS UT-FS inks in the ink order recommended for the 1280
will work well.  See my "Readme" file on the 1280 and FS inks at
http://home1.gte.net/res09aij/1280-FS-Readme.htm.  You may need a grayscale
curve to get the best printing, however.  I suspect MIS does not sell these
carts pre-loaded.  So, you'd have to hand load the cartridges.

Epson Enhanced Matte is the same as Epson Archival Matte.  The acidity will
only affect those you want to keep for a long time, like family pictures of
value.
