CIS from inkRepublic

CIS from inkRepublic

2005-02-23 by - andu -

For those still having problems with their CIS using sponge based
cartridges, I recommend the system sold by inkRepublic.com.
I bought this in December of last year and haven't had a clogging
problem or any problem since (using UT2 on Epson 1280). Also, it uses
individual carts for each ink which makes it easy to replace or move
them around if necessary and since they don't have a sponge one can
just wash them in case one needs to use different inks. My only
complaint is that one side of the cart is made from a membrane which
is kind of thin and can be damaged. I notified inkRepublic and
hopefully they will do something about it in the future.
They seem very interested in user feedback in order to improve their
product.
Hope this helps someone.
