BO Printing Epson 1290s

BO Printing Epson 1290s

2005-03-03 by tcooote

I was very interested in the posts re BO on the 2100 which I use for
colour. Recently I bought the 1290s to dedicate as a mono printer.I
find that it produces a very warm print with Epson inks on Ilford
Gallery Smooth Pearl and a print with a slight green tint in the
upper mid tones on Epson Photo Glossy paper. Has any one found a
paper which is neutral when used with Epson original inks?
 Thanks in advance. Ted

The Epson PK ink is a warm ink - it will not be neutral with black only on
any paper. If you are getting a green tint it can't be black only.
