paper flaking, buckling and blotchy burnishing

paper flaking, buckling and blotchy burnishing

I'm about throw down some money on Premier Fine Art Hot Press 205gsm
after getting some disturbing flaking from H PhotoRag and reading
that PFA Hot Press doesn't flake. I'm wondering if 205gsm is heavy
enough to withstand buckling and if it is resistant to the blotchy,
burnished look (from ink load?) that EEM gets in the darker areas of
a print?

Photoshop Tip #1
To quickly transfer a layer mask from one layer to another, select
the layer that will receive the mask, then click directly on the
source layer mask (keeping the mouse button down) and drag it to the
Add Layer Mask button at the bottom of the Layers palette.

If you are transferring the contents of a mask to an Adjustment
Layer (which already has a layer mask) then Ctrl/Command click on
the painted mask to generate a selection, which you can use to fill
the empty mask. You may need to invert the selection first

Maybe you folks already knew that but I'm trying to give something
back.
