Digital BW, The Print

Chuck, I converted my Epson 4000 several weeks ago to a new
pigment-based variable-tone b&w ink set (not Piezotones). The
change-over process was a chore -- it's not easy to get the color inks
out of that printer. 

But as soon as that was done, I was rewarded with stunning b&w prints. I
have not had a single clog or any other problem.

The inks, by the way, are Media Street's new Generations QuadBlack inks,
just announced at PMA in Orlando. Here is a link to their press release:

These should be available shortly from Media Street. I have
pre-production samples, since I designed the inks for them. The ink set
incorporates both photo and matte blacks, and also a surface optimizer
polymer that eliminates bronzing when printing on RC papers.

Are the curves they are referring to like Paul's curves? Hmm...

Didn't Media Street kinda steal the design of the original CIS and patent it too?
