Re: [Digital BW] NIK sharpener pro vs PK sharpener

Steven, I haven't used Nik Sharpener Pro, but you have that option in PKS also--and it works in layers which gives you an inordinate amount of control. I'm sort of replicating that part of it to some degree in the plugins that Carl linked to by using layers and masks. Because PKS won't work in Greyscale (it will, of course, in 16 bit) its much more tedious to use than using the plugins unless you work out a different workflow rather than working completely in gray-lab from the beginning. Subject: [Digital BW] NIK sharpener pro vs PK sharpener
I have not been following the sharpening thread so well, but I have
heard no mention of Nik Sharpener Pro, which allows selective
sharpening to various degrees that one can paint on the penpallate.
Does any one have any experience and how does this compare with PK
sharpener and other programs? Thanks
