C86 and MIS

2005-03-11 by raymalin

Trying Paul's C86 and MIS setup. I have followed Paul's settings to
the letter with one little problem. I get little or no ink on the
paper. After having searched the index and reading almost everything
on this setup I have discovered the air bubbles in the cartridges.
have tried the wait two hours, run nozzle check(perfect), head
alignment(perfect),and repeat. I would rather not wait two weeks or
so for the air bubbles to dissapate. Any suggestion?
PS what a great list and a bunch of friendly helpful people!!

He turns the cart upside down to get the air bubble to the top. Then, he
withdraws the air from the feed hole until there is an ink flow. Did you
try that? He has published what contraption he uses for that.
