EZ ink storage

EZ ink storage

2005-03-17 by bob3c2000

Now that I have my new C86 up and running with the EZ warm tone inks,
I thought I would try the netural inks. My question is: what do I do
with the warm set,
how should they be stored?
Thank for your help, and what a great group we have here!

Bob,

What I do with carts is use a syringe of water to wash the old ink off the
outlet. Then I tape the outlet. That's about it. The main thing I'm
concerned with is ink drying at the outlet and then getting into the inlet.

The old-style carts often didn't re-start well. The new EZ refill types
with the poppet valves seem to be easily interchangeable. I have a
collection of C86 and 2200 carts (and a growing collection of 1280 carts)
that I pop in and out at will. So far so good.
