Changing C84 EZN black cartridges 'on the fly'

Just got a C84 and MIS EZN inks with blacks for Matte & Glossy papers. Initially loaded Eboni Black and did some proofing on EEM with OK results (a bit muddy but room to experiment further). Would now like to try proofing on EGPP and instal Photo Black cart. Having only done 20 Eboni B.prints, is it OK to swap over partially used cartridge? Any special precautions? Thanks.
