Digital BW, The Print

Hello 

I've recently purchased a new Epson 7600. I plan to use the UT7 ink
set. I have two 
questions:

1 - Do I need to use the MIS Cleaning Cartridges, even though I have
NOT used the Epson 
UC inks?

2 - Will the use of 3rd party ink sets void the Epson warranty?

I just purchased a used 7600 that had OEM UC ink in it.  I put the UT7 inks
in directly.  It worked fine.  But, there are some who say that the Epson
inks should be used first to be sure the printer is working.  The cleaning
fluid would not help there.  Some used to claim the OEM inks were better at
cleaning out some substance that was in new printers.  I've loaded other new
Epsons with MIS pigs initially and have never had a problem.

No, they'll just harass you. 

Congratulation on the 7600 purchase.  I'm still experimenting with mine to
see what the best approach is.  I've posted some initial RGB curves for the
printer using the Epson driver.
