epson 3000 connectivity

2005-03-31 by Joseph Loscalzo

Connecting an Epson 3000 that will print black/white quality photos
to a G4.
Is there a preferred way to connect while using (what kind) of
converter of a serial to USB?
I'm using software that does not support an Ethernet connection.

Any suggestion would be greatly appreciated because I want to get the
proper cables and converter. Plus (where best to buy) and will a
Belkin converter work
best.

Many thanks,

Please email with any suggestions.

Joe

Epson sells, or used to sell, a USB to parallel converter with
software. That's what I use.
The number on the cable is ISD-103, not sure if that's an epson part
number or an oem
part number.

It worked for me when the Belkin did not.

[Digital BW] Wanted: Epson USB/Parallel Cable

2005-04-04 by R Murai

Hi Folks,

I need to find/purchase an Epson USB to parallel converter for the 3000 -
software driver not needed. The number on the cable is ISD-103.

It's no longer available from Epson and I urgently need to setup another
3000.

Please state price and location.

Thanks - Rick Murai
