old soft-proof curves?

Hello everyone, Just today I tried starting to use the soft-proofing features of QTR 2.1. However, the install script did not install the .psf files. I tried to do it manually through Photoshop CS but it says that it cannot because "this file is not compatible with this version of Photoshop". When I say manually I mean I went to "view-setup-load". I am running a G5 with 10.3.8 and using the UT2 inks on a 1280. I found on Roy's website an install script for the 1270 UT2 inks and those worked but I rather not use those because it doesn't have the lustre psf's. Also to note. originally when I looked into the profile folder on the .dmg folder for the 1280 the files were text files not .psf's. I figured they were downloaded wrong so I changed the suffix. Either way it doesn't work. Can someone help out? Thank you.
