Hi Jim, I'd like 12x13 (or 12x12.5 to be exact). There is a line of Kolo album which accepts 12x12.5 sheets, but 12x13 should be fine as it gives you a little more room to play with. Currently I have to get the 13x19 size for this album. By the way the Innova Soft Texture is fantastic. The strange thing about it is it appears to have much larger color gamut with slightly deeper black than Photo Rag, but when superimposed on a PR profile it is almost identical though only slightly larger. Maybe this slightly larger color gamut gives it the extra visible pop. The paper surface is definitely more scuff resistant. I don't think I need to coat this paper at all. --nick --- In DigitalBlackandWhiteThePrint@yahoogroups.com, "jdoyle1713" <jdoyle1713@c...> wrote:

In that case, how about get them to slit some 13" rolls? I would like to proof on the actual paper, but making working prints on 24" or larger rolls is pretty wasteful. -- Bruce Watson Jim Doyle wrote:

Jim, > ... Would There be an Interest For a 12 x 12 > Sheet Size In a Archival Paper..? As I'm sure you know, the "scrap bookers" use 12 x 12. I'd think a double-sided version similar to the Epson Scrapbook paper (close to the PremierArt 205) might be able to be marketed to that rather large crowd. Some of these papers use a type of binding that allows an unbroken 12 x 24 inch double-page panorama in a table-top book. I think that type of arrangement could have significant appeal to photographers. A 12 x 12 book layout also allows vertical and horizontal photos to be equally presentable. In short, I think the 12 x 12 has significant potential if it is targeted at the book, photo-album, & scrapbook markets. In that market, I suspect the durability and abrasion resistance of Epson Scrapbook-PremierArt Hot Press will be more important than the higher dmax of the Innova papers. I'm not sure if Innova has a paper that is specifically formulated for that type of use. Paul www.PaulRoark.com

I'll I can tell you is that I've been buying 13" rolls of Hahnemuhle Photo Rag 308 gsm for this purpose. With the built-in cutter on my 7600, this is a nice way to go - I can make small proofs, somewhat larger proofs, portfolio prints, and the smallest size in my line all from a 13" roll with little wastage. When I was working in the darkroom, I'd proof on 8x10 inch sheets (cut from 16x20 inch sheets) before I printed something bigger. With ink and paper prices being as high as they are, I don't see why I'd want to change that methodology. -- Bruce Watson Jim Doyle wrote:
