Lyson ink help needed...

Listers, I'm moving to Lyson Quad black inks on my 1280 and have a beginner's question....several questions, actually. Incidentally, Mac OS X 10.3.8, PSE 3.0. I ordered a cleaning cartridge with my first ink order. When I install the cleaning cartridge, should I also install the Lyson black ink cart in the other slot, or leave in the Epson color cart? Commonsense would indicate I install the Lyson quad black cart, but I don't know. Next, are there any print setting changes I need to make when I print through PSE 3.0? Settings that are specific to Lyson inks, I mean. Anything else I need to know? All help gratefully appreciated. Ken -- The Rev.
