QTR 2.2 for Mac and New Install

QTR 2.2 for Mac and New Install

2005-05-05 by Steve Kale

Hi

I had to do a reinstall of QTR following the installation of Tiger. I notice that I no longer have
the two options per page size in the page setup (eg A4 and A4 centered). Am I just out of
date on this?

Add me to the list also...same problem.

Me too, though I'm on 10.3.9 not Tiger, and it was initially an
update, not a clean install. I'm having other issues too. I've posted
a plea for help on the QuadTone group.

If anyone can explain where the custom paper sizes are defined and
point me to the script that installs, I can try to dig around and see
what's happening.

I changed the page sizes on the desktops to the "maximum" page size
so there's a small border on all 4 sides. From what I could decipher on the
Epson info the desktops can do this whereas the Pro printers can't. Anyway
this makes the pages all centered already so there wasn't need for the dual
paper sizes. It's been like this for a while on the Windows version and it didn't
seem to cause anyone trouble. Are you guys having any trouble caused by this?
I was hoping to avoid all the driver versions that Epson has, but all the docs
I've seen are very vague on what works.

Let me know if this causes real printing problems.

Nope no problems just thought it was an issue associated with my Tiger
update. So these should all correspond to Epson Maximum which is what I use
for colour work. Thanks
