Upgrade from an Epson 1160 w/Peizotone inks?

I'm think of upgrading my 1160 printer that is currently dedicated to Peizotone inks. The 1160 works fine, except for clogging from time to time. Greater detail and/or larger print szie would be helpful. I've noticed that the new R1800 that I got to do color produced sharper, finer detailed prints than the 1160 -- which is to be expected given advancing technology, but I didn't think it would be so easily visible. I understand that there have been problems/issues/or inconsistencies with the Peizotone ICC implementation on the Epson 1280 printer. What other alternatives are there? How does the 2200 work with Peizotone inks and ICC's? Is there going to be something set up for the R1800 (I could always buy another one of these). Is the old 1520 reliable? I thought about the Epson 4000, which should give both lager print size and better resolution. But the cost of the software to run the Peizotone inks on it -- about $1800 according to the inkjetmall website -- doesn't make it a viable choice. At that price (Printer and software) you might as well just get a new 4800 or 7800 -- provided Epson new B&W solution for these printers works as well as they say -- and you can print color a well, without changing inks. I'm not wedded to the Peizotone ink set either, although I have been happy with the results it has given me. How do other inksets, such as the MIS UT7 compare? it might even make a Epson 4000 choice do-able. Does anyone have any thoughts as to what would represent a relaible step up from a B&W-dedicated Epson 1160 printer ? Thanks for the help.
